Cheering Procedures
Cheering Standard Operating Procedures
The following policies have been designed for the safety of our participants. Please look over them carefully and contact the cheering director with any questions.
Practice Pick Up:
NYAA Program: Cheer
Season: 2022
Policy: Practice Pick-up
The following policy and procedure addresses parents or guardians picking up players at the end of practices.
Parents or guardians will be required to report to Practice location at least 20 minutes prior to the end of each practice.
Important information is often conveyed to parents and guardians just prior to the conclusion of SHOWTIME. It is important that parents or guardians not miss the dissemination of this information that the Cheer director will be giving. In addition, coaches spend much time preparing and conducting practices. It is unfair to expect them to stay after practice to watch players whose parents are late picking them up.
In the event a player is left at the fields waiting for his parents/guardian to pick him up, two (2) NYAA Coaches must stay until the player is picked up.
No child, at any time, may be left alone with a Coach by him/herself.
In the event of inclement looking weather or actual bad weather please make your way to practice location earlier that usually to pick up your child.
