Registration for Fall 25' is Now Open for Tiger (In-House U4-U7) and Recreational (U8+) Programs

NYAA Soccer has 3 divisions :

Tiger (U5-U7) is our in-house program for our younger players.

Depending on signups we try for at least 3 divisions (U5, U6 and U7) with at least 4 teams in each division.

Our U8 and up Recreational program is open to everyone and new teams are formed based upon interest for every season.  Our recreational teams  play local teams in Northern Valley Youth Soccer League (NVYSL).

Travel / Club teams play in more competitive regional leagues such as LVYSL, ICL, and EDP .  Tryouts are held in the spring for the following fall/spring seasons.  Teams are formed based upon player and coaching interest.  Please visit our Travel page for more information.

Age Groupings

Soccer "Age Groupings" are not based upon school grade, they are based upon Birth Year.

The fall is considered the main Soccer season and starts the "soccer year", which continues through the spring.

USA SOCCER (National sanctioning body) is changing their age cutoff for the Fall 2026 / Spring 2027 season to align more closely with grade levels.  It is anticipated that the birth year cutoff will shift from January 1 to September 1st.
