About Legion / Junior Connie Mack Baseball - Potentially Senior Connie Mack for 2026

Northern Valley Legion Baseball is comprised of a few sending school territories, but is in no way limited to public school players.  We welcome players who attend private, online, charter, etc. schools who live in our sending area.  For Junior Connie Mack, the team is made up of Northwestern Lehigh territory and usually involves Middle School and younger high school aged students. Legion Baseball usually includes high schoolers of the varsity skill level as well as 19 year old graduates and covers 3 territories...Northwestern, Northern Lehigh and Palmerton.  Junior Connie Mack baseball is now offered because of recent participation in Middle School Baseball.

As a last minute update, there may be enough enrollment to offer a Senior Connie Mack this year of 2026! If there is enough enrollment at this age level exclusively, we will run a team! Senior connie mack age eligibiliy:

Northern Valley Connie Mack (Ages 15 and 16)
If a player is under age 17 before May 1, 2026, he is eligible.
20+ games between May and July

2026 AGE ELIGIBILITY for Legion and Jr. Connie Mack

  • Northern Valley Junior Connie Mack (Ages 12, 13 and 14)
    • If a player is still 14 on April 30, 2026, he is eligible.
    • 16+ games between May and July
  • Northern Valley American Legion (15 through 19 years old)
    • If a player is born on or after January 1st 2007, he is eligible for Legion Baseball.  2006 birthdays are no longer eligible.
    • 16+ games between May and July
    • * Walnutport players must talk with us about territory

FEBRUARY 8  --  REGULAR ONLINE REGISTRATION BEGINS

MARCH 29  --  REGULAR ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS – Please sign up by 10PM on this date

EVALUATIONS -- Northern Lehigh, Northwestern Lehigh, and Palmerton High School Baseball games will be evaluated for player choices for those players who have already registered. A player who does not play on one of these teams may request a tryout by contacting Jim Kester using the phone number listed below.

MARCH 29  --  MEETING and UNIFORM FITTING ---Location to be announced to all who have signed up.  There will be a late registration period after march 29 with a $20.00 late fee.

April 19  --  MEETINGS - ---Location to be announced to all who have signed up.  All League paperwork will be collected. New Legion players will need to give me a Drivers License picture or original player birth certificate. (license pictures nor birth certificate needed for returning Senior Legion Payers).

All we need for Junior Connie Mack Players is a Birth Certificate Copy.

 

Northern Valley Fee Structure:

  1. $20 NYAA Admin fee  ------ (Fields, tractors, gasoline, mowing contract, building maintenance, web site, document copying, etc.)
  2. $210.00 Baseball Fee
  3. Total Cost = $230
